Home: Who We Are

FOUNDER

Nikisha Hamilton is a former student of Chantilly Primary School in Manchester Jamaica. She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Over the past 15 years, she has dedicated her clinical efforts in serving diverse communities, as well as through her volunteer efforts. She is an advocate for health literacy, and emphasizing the various health disparities among minorities.

Nikisha Hamilton have always desired to give back to the place that nurtured her educational foundation. The teachers at Chantilly Primary School, played a huge role in her overall development. Those remarkable teachers, utilized the limited resources that they had, to educate students like herself. That motivated her to always strive to do her best, regardless of any circumstance.

Nikisha Hamilton created Soars Scholar in 2019, as a platform to make a meaningful impact in the lives of scholars in Jamaica.
